MATINEE INFORMATION

Thank you for choosing RLT for your school field trip. We strive to entertain, engage, and enrich our community, and we appreciate the opportunity to play a role in your students’ educational experience. Teacher guides with classroom activities will be provided for each production.

Performances

This season, RLT is pleased to offer school show matinees for its productions of THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER on December 10 & 11, 2019, and FROZEN JR. on March 24 & 25, 2020. Performance times are 9:00am and 11:30am.

Tickets and Information

Student matinee tickets are $5. One free teacher/chaperone ticket is given per 10 paid tickets. Reservations are first come, first serve, and seating is limited. Reservations can be made online or by phone. Please read our School Show Matinee Flyer for information about arrivals, parking, and other policies. ROME'S COMMUNITY THEATRE SINCE 1933

 

Born of the American Little Theatre Movement, Rome Little Theatre is proud to be one of the oldest community theatres in the country.  From its founding in 1933 to its WWII hiatus and its 1956 revival, and from its residencies at the Gordon Theatre and the Maple Street Community Center to its current home at the Historic DeSoto Theatre, RLT is woven artfully into the rich, historical fabric of Rome, Georgia.

For decades, RLT has been committed to entertaining, engaging, and educating our community through the practice and promotion of the theatre arts. Our success is built on the generous contributions of generations of volunteers, donors, and patrons.

The mission of RLT is to present amateur theatrical productions, encourage interest in drama, and contribute to the cultural and educational life of the community. RLT is an active supporter of the Arts in Rome and Floyd County.

RLT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
