The Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation announces that tickets are on sale beginning July 12 for "An Evening With Tinsley Ellis", its first planned DeSoto Nights event, a series to bring a variety of entertainment events to bolster the preservation efforts for the Historic DeSoto Theatre.

Reserved Seating and General Admission tickets for "An Evening With Tinsley Ellis" concert scheduled for Saturday, October 23 at 8:00pm, can be purchased through a partnership with The Forum on their website, www.forumevents.org, or tickets can be purchased at The Forum Box Office in person or by calling (706) 291-5281. Additionally, General Admission tickets can be purchased at the Historic DeSoto Theatre or at the location of the presenting sponsor, Maximum Nutrition, 122 Broad St. Rome, GA. Reserved seating tickets are $25 and $20, General Admission tickets are $15, plus handling fees and sales tax applied on all tickets.

DeSoto Nights sponsorship opportunities are available for any businesses or groups that would like to partner with the DeSoto Theatre Foundation for "An Evening With Tinsley Ellis"  and additional planned events including Country Comedy Tour (October 8 -  8pm), and Holiday Family Variety Show (December 10, 11 - Times: TBA). Other possible events seeking sponsorships include Visiting Artist and Classic Movies Series. Sponsorship levels are $100 Corporate level, $250 Event level and $1,000 Presenting level.
