An easy and free way to raise $100 for Rome Little Theatre
 Open a checking account with SunTrust bank and SunTrust will donate $100 to Rome Little Theatre.

The process for opening a checking account at SunTrust Bank for the My Cause Program is very easy.

Time Involved:
Approximately ten minutes

Requirements: 

Open a checking account by June 30, 2008. (There are several checking account options.)
Visit this link on the SunTrust website or call toll free 866.266.2802 following account opening to declare Rome Little Theatre as the recipient of the $100.00 donation.
Receive bank card via mail in a week or so.
Use bank card at least once to make a purchas.
Keep account open and in good standing.


I chose SunTrust Bank's Basic Checking Account: No minimums (no initial minimum deposit and no minimum balance required) Fees: None except cost of checks and even that is optional (I chose not to purchase checks, so I'll incur no costs at all by using only the bank card.)

That's it.

Please consider opening a checking account at SunTrust by October 12, 2007 and designating RLT as the $100.00 gift recipient. An acknowledgement will be sent to RLT on your behalf giving you credit for the donation.

An excerpt from a note from the President of the Rome Little Theatre Board of Directors:

As many of you have heard from Jim Curry, SunTrust is offering a great opportunity for RLT to raise funds.  I am writing to encourage each of you to participate in this program.  Jim has already signed up and says it is very easy (only 10-15 minutes).  There are no fees and the only stipulation is that you use your check card 1 time before the middle of November.  Most of us use our check card 2-3 times a day.  I hope to get the entire board and much of the membership to sign up.  That alone would be over $1500 when you consider those who have businesses can participate twice.  If our entire membership were to participate, that could bring in $10,000-15,000. Tell all your friends about this and help us spread the word..
